Restoring Ecosystem
Synthite is single-hearted about conserving natural resources and safeguarding global ecosystems to ensure the long-term wellness of our people.
We have installed solar panels on the RCC roof of our Ongole facility in Andhra Pradesh to harness the sun's energy and sustainably power our operations. We are also making an effort to place solar panels at all our facilities to boost the use of renewable energy.
Having pledged to promote clean energy, we have commissioned two windmill generators, located in the high wind-density regions of Udumalpet and Tamil Nadu. The electricity generated is shared with the TN Electric Board distribution grid.
Sustainable use of water, keeping future generations in mind, is paramount. To reduce the consumption of water, Synthite has implemented rainwater harvesting at our facility in Kerala.
The corporate building of Synthite has received the IGBC Green Building Platinum Award. It is a highly resource-efficient infrastructure that remains a beaming benchmark for our environmentally responsible journey.
We have taken a feasible approach to combating deforestation by restoring degraded land and enhancing greenery in urban areas. We have a staple of 6,000+ native species, which will aid carbon sequestration.
Reduce, recycle, and reuse - that’s our policy. Our effluent treatment plants help treat polluted water, and the recycled water is further used for processes like cooling the tower, gardening, and other domestic purposes.
